Ingredientes

  • 2 med Onions, sliced Artificial sweetener to equal 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 med Cabbage, shredded
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Caraway seeds
  • 1 Tbsp. Vinegar, (1 to 2)
  • 1/2 c. Water
  • 3 lrg Tomatoes, peeled and minced
  • 1 Tbsp. Flour Bouillon

Direcciones

  1. In deep saucepan, saute/fry' onions in small amount of bouillon. Saute/fry' till soft and golden brown. Sprinkle with sugar. Add in cabbage, salt, caraway, vinegar, and water.
  2. Simmer, covered, over low heat for 30 min. Add in tomatoes and simmer, covered for 15 min more. Mix flour with 2 to 3 Tbsp. of pan liquid.
  3. Make a smooth paste. Stir into cabbage. Cook, uncovered, stirring constantly till mix thickens.
  4. Suggested Wine: Sauvignon Blanc
