%20From%20some%20of%20her%20comments,%20I%20also%20gathered%20that%20she%20has%20three%20boys%20and%20is%20holding%20a%20full%20time%20job.%20That%20was%20all%20I%20know%20about%20her...until%20the%20beginning%20of%20this%20year,%20she%20dropped%20me%20a%20note%20to%20inform%20me%20that%20her%20second%20child%20happens%20to%20be%20my%20younger%20boy's%20partner.%20Their%20desks%20are%20side%20by%20side,%20and%20they%20queue%20up%20together.%20What%20a%20surprise!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20turns%20out%20that%20my%20elder%20son%20was%20actually%20the%20same%20age%20as%20her%20eldest%20boy.%20Through%20reading%20my%20blog,%20she%20discovered%20that%20they%20were%20in%20the%20same%20school,%20and%20although%20they%20were%20not%20in%20the%20same%20class,%20both%20boys%20were%20friends.%20She%20kept%20mum%20about%20it%20as%20she%20feels%20paiseh%20or%20shy%20to%20approach%20me.%20I%20would%20probably%20do%20the%20same%20if%20I%20were%20her%20(%5E%5E')%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EUntil%20end%20of%20last%20year,%20it%20was%20by%20chance%20she%20found%20out%20that%20her%20second%20child%20was%20my%20younger%20boy's%20classmate%20(I%20have%20to%20thank%20my%20boy%20for%20it!).%20In%20fact,%20all%20this%20while,%20the%20four%20boys%20know%20each%20other.%20It's%20a%20small%20world,%20isn't%20it?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20was%20only%20last%20week%20that%20I%20felt%20I%20am%20actually%20'ready'%20to%20meet%20her%20in%20person.%20Actually,%20the%20feeling%20just%20came%20naturally...or%20rather,%20I%20didn't%20feel%20intimidated%20at%20the%20thought%20of%20having%20to%20meet%20someone%20who%20has%20been%20reading%20my%20blog.%20I%20attribute%20it%20to%20the%20fact%20that%20we%20seems%20to%20share%20many%20similarities%20and%20most%20important%20of%20all,%20both%20of%20us%20like%20baking!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20sorted%20of%20hinted%20by%20asking%20whether%20she%20has%20tried%20baking%20anything%20with%20matcha%20powder,%20and%20she%20wrote%20to%20say%20she%20was%20planning%20to%20make%20me%20something%20with%20matcha!%20So%20with%20the%20assurance%20that%20she%20likes%20anything%20with%20matcha,%20I%20set%20off%20to%20test%20out%20a%20matcha%20pound%20cake%20the%20night%20before.%20I%20wasn't%20sure%20what%20went%20wrong...but%20the%20cake%20took%20an%20extra%2015mins%20to%20be%20cooked,%20or%20at%20least%20for%20the%20top%20to%20turn%20golden%20brown.%20Trust%20me,%20the%20loaf%20of%20pound%20cake%20looked%20really%20lovely,%20but%20the%20moment%20I%20sank%20in%20a%20knife%20to%20cut%20a%20slice,%20it%20hit%20me%20that%20I%20have%20over%20baked%20the%20cake!%20I%20felt%20as%20though%20I%20was%20cutting%20into%20a%20block%20of%20dried%20sponge%20foam...you%20know,%20those%20dark%20green%20foam%20that%20is%20used%20for%20fresh%20floral%20arrangement?%20The%20cake%20felt%20'sandy'%20and%20dry%20:'(%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20didn't%20want%20to%20take%20the%20risk%20to%20bake%20the%20same%20thing%20the%20following%20morning.%20I%20turn%20to%20plan%20B%20instead...a%20matcha%20chiffon%20cake,%20recipe%20from%20a%20cookbook%20which%20I%20have%20just%20bought.%20I%20was%20taking%20another%20risk%20since%20it%20has%20been%20a%20long%20time%20since%20I%20last%20baked%20a%20chiffon%20cake.%20Even%20though%20the%20cake%20looked%20good%20upon%20unmolding,%20I%20wasn't%20sure%20about%20the%20texture.%20In%20the%20end,%20my%20lack%20of%20confidence%20drove%20me%20out%20of%20the%20house%20to%20get%20more%20eggs.%20I%20could%20only%20feel%20easy%20about%20it%20after%20I%20baked%20an%20exact%20replica.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAlthough%20the%20colour%20was%20not%20pleasant...the%20texture%20of%20the%20cake%20was%20good,%20or%20at%20least,%20it%20was%20a%20'pass'.%20It%20was%20soft,%20springy%20and%20moist,%20something%20I%20will%20not%20feel%20too%20shy%20to%20give%20away,%20even%20to%20a%20fellow%20cake%20friend.%20This%20time,%20I%20even%20remembered%20to%20do%20a%20'spring%20test'.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(Notice%20the%20force%20I%20exerted%20on%20the%20poor%20cake?%20This%20must%20be%20at%20least%20the%203rd%20take%20and%20it%20could%20still%20spring%20back.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EA%20chiffon%20cake%20is%20not%20as%20fragile%20as%20I%20thought!)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20was%20a%20pleasant%20meeting%20with%20my%20cake%20friend.%20We%20didn't%20choose%20to%20meet%20at%20some%20nice%20cafe%20or%20restaurant...but%20out%20of%20convenience%20we%20had%20desserts%20at%20a%20neighourbood%20hawker%20centre.%20If%20not%20for%20the%20time,%20and%20the%20fear%20that%20the%20boys%20would%20eventually%20turn%20the%20hawker%20centre%20into%20a%20playground,%20we%20would%20have%20talked%20and%20talked%20and%20talked!%20She%20baked%20me%20a%20batch%20of%20delicious%20matcha%20mochi%20cakes%20but%20I%20didn't%20have%20chance%20to%20take%20photos%20as%20they%20were%20all%20gone%20during%20breakfast%20:)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMatcha%20Chiffon%20Cake%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMethod:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESieve%20cake%20flour%20and%20matcha%20powder,%20set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20egg%20yolks%20in%20a%20mixing%20bowl.%20With%
