Ingredientes

  • 2 c. sifted swans down cake flour
  • 2 tsp calumet baking pwdr
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 x egg whites, unbeaten soft butter as needed
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Direcciones

  1. Sift flour once, measure, add in baking pwdr, sugar, salt and sift together three times.
  2. To egg whites in c., add in sufficient butter to half fill c.; add in sufficient lowfat milk to fill it completely.
  3. Turn into flour, add in vanilla, and beat vigorously 2 min.
  4. Bake in two greased 8 inch layer pans in moderate oven (375 degrees) 25 min.
  5. Spread Mocha Frosting between layers and on top of cake when cold.
