Receta Campbell’s Skillet Sauce... Mmm... A Delicious Review @CampbellSoupCo
by Nicole Sherman

I was recently given the opportunity to try Campbell’s New Skillet Sauces. I was given the choices of Thai Green Curry, Creamy Chipotle, Toasted Sesame, Fire Roasted Tomato with Red Bell Peppers and Chiles, Scampi with White Wine and Garlic and Marsala. The first Skillet Sauce we chose to try was the Creamy Chipotle.

I knew we were going to be gone all day and as usual we would probably fall back on our bad habit of eating out. I decided to change that pattern and be prepared. Let’s be honest half of the reason we fall back on fast food is because we are not prepared.

Before we left the house I took out 1 pound of chicken breast from the freezer so that it would be defrosted by the time we got home. When I got home I cut the chicken into chunks, and heated some oil in a skillet.

While the oil was heating I got the water boiling for a bag of boil in bag rice. As the rice was cooking away I browned the chicken (Make it vegetarian, skip the chicken and just add vegetables) and then added the Creamy Chipotle Campbell’s Skillet Sauce to the pan. 10 minutes later dinner was done and on the table! WOW now that was fast!

Dinner was done in 15 minutes total! I couldn’t have been more please. Not only did we get a really great meal, but it was done in no time.

My family LOVED the Creamy Chipotle Campbell’s Skillet Sauce. It consists of black beans, and corn, not to mention the amazing chipotle cream sauce. The flavor was spicy and simply delicious. I was a little skeptical that we could actually have a really great meal in just a matter of time, but we did, and it was well worth the few minutes of prep work in the morning … Prep work as in taking the chicken out of the freezer! That’s all the prep you really need.

One of my biggest pet peeves is going out for fast food. It’s our go to when we are running behind, or because we are feeling too lazy to cook. When you are looking for a speedy meal in the fast food world you get low quality food, that is extremely high in calories, and you get “food” loaded down with unhealthy additives. Oh yes, and I have to mention the price! Eating fast food out for a family adds up quickly …it’s certainly not a cheap meal, and it’s defiantly not healthy!

Campbell’s has come up with a simple solution for the family that is always on the run or for the person who just doesn’t want to put much thought or work for that matter into dinner. Campbell’s Skillet Sauce’s will certainly be our new “go-to” for a quick and easy dinner. Who needs fast food when you can have a fast homemade dinner?
