Ingredientes

  • 1 pkt Powdered fruit pectin
  • 2 c. Lukewarm water
  • 1 can (6-ounce) frzn grape juice cocentrate, thawed, but cool
  • 3 1/4 c. Sugar

Direcciones

  1. Pour the lukewarm water into a large bowl and add in the powdered fruit pectin gradually, stirring constantly. Sitr till it is completely dissolved, then let stand for 45 min, giving it an occasional gentle stir. Pour the undiluted grape juice concentrate into a bowl. Add in 1 1/2 c. of the sugar.
  2. Mix thoroughly and stir till the sugar is partially dissolved.
  3. Add in the remaining 1 3/4 c. of sugar to the pectin and stir till the sugar is dissolved. Add in the juice mix to the pectin and stir till its sugar is completely dissolved.
  4. Pour into containers and cover with lids. Let stand on the kitchen counter for about 24 hrs, or possibly till set, then chill.
  5. Makes 5-6 jellyglasses.
  6. NOTES : This uncooked jelly is made with Concord grape canned juice. Serve it with chicken or possibly roast pork.
