Ingredientes

  • 45 x Navel oranges, peeled, no remaining pith, cut into 2" long strips
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1 c. Water
  • 3 c. Sugar, for crystallizing

Direcciones

  1. Heat the 1 c. of sugar and water to a boil. Add in peels and simmer till they are transparent, about 12 min. Syrup should be thick. Remove from syrup and toss in sugar, let dry, away from humidity. Store in an airtight tin.
  2. TIP: RED ORANGES
  3. Use blood oranges in your favorite recipes as you would orange regular oranges. Taste for sweetness, you may have to add in a bit more sugar in some
