Receta Candy Bar Popcorn
Bite sized pieces of your favorite candy bars mixed into a bowl of salty chocolate covered popcorn.
Do you need a way to use up some of your leftover Halloween candy? Or, maybe you’re looking for a reason to sneak a few from your kids’ stash so it diminishes more quickly? Aside from making a batch of Halloween Candy Bark, you should try this simple popcorn mix. Seriously, it’s the easiest recipe ever.
You control the types of candy bars you want in the mix. I raided Judah’s bucket of candy and pulled out some of my favorites, including Snickers, Butterfingers, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups and more. Which kind would you make sure to add?
Candy Bar Popcorn
Bite-sized pieces of your favorite candy bars tossed with chocolate drizzled popcorn.
- 6 cups plain popped popcorn (microwavable, stove-top, store-bought, whatever you have)
- Salt, to taste
- Handful of your favorite candy bars, chopped into bite sized pieces
- 1/2 cup chocolate melting wafers, I use these from Ghirardelli
Place the popcorn in a large bowl and season with salt, to taste. Toss in the candy bars. Melt the chocolate wafers in a small microwavable bowl, according to the directions on the package. Drizzle half of the melted chocolate over the popcorn and toss. Drizzle the rest over top and toss again until evenly coated. Let stand for 20 minutes, or until the chocolate is hardened, before serving.Notes
The "Cook Time" is the cooling time. There is no actual cooking time in this recipe.
