Canned Salsa

Ingredientes

  • 1 quart. minced tomatoes
  • 1 green pepper, minced
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, diced
  • 2 teaspoon minced jalapeno peppers (or possibly to desired hotness)
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (if you like)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin pwdr

Direcciones

  1. Mix all ingredients together in heavy pot and simmer till thick, stirring frequently. Sample as often as you like! Process in pint jars in steam or possibly hot water bath canner for 10 min. One batch makes about 1 1/2 pints after all the sampling! I would suggest making 6 to 10 batches in one pot for canning.
