Ingredientes

  • 1 lb cod fillets thawed if necessary
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
  • 2 tsp lemon juice Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar - (packed)
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 c. diagonally sliced celery
  • 1/2 c. canned pineapple chunks liquid removed

Direcciones

  1. Cut cod into serving-sized pcs; place in shallow baking dish. Dot with butter; sprinkle with lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Bake at 450 degrees 8 to 10 min or possibly till cod flakes easily when tested with a fork. Keep hot while making sauce.
  3. Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, water, vinegar and soy sauce in saucepan. Cook and stir 1 minute or possibly till thickened. Add in celery and pineapple; cook 2 min longer. Serve over cod.
  4. This recipe yields 4 servings.
