Receta Caprese Salad Kabobs with Pesto Sauce

I make these Caprese Kabobs and top them with homemade pesto!
They are delicious, easy to transport, easy to eat, fresh and healthy!
In addition, they are perfect for vegetarian and gluten free guests.

We always celebrate Mother''s Day with our extended family. Sometimes it's for brunch, sometimes for a BBQ or sometimes for dinner. Regardless of how we celebrate, we have a big crowd and everyone brings something to contribute to the meal.
I usually make a lovely flat captese platter. It is delicious but a little messy to eat at a party where most of the guests are standing.
This year I'll be making these easy kabobs and homemade spinach pesto! ( if you are nut free use my balsamic reduction)

Caprese Salad Kabobs
small mozzarella balls
Cherry tomatoes
fresh basil leaves
Toothpick skewers ( these are larger than toothpicks)
pesto! Sauce
Alternate ingredients placing a cherry tomato, a mozzarella ball, a piece of fresh basil folded, and end with another cherry tomato~!! A perfect gluten free appetizer.
