Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. Bisquick original baking mix
  • 2/3 c. Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 2 med Cooking apples, peeled and sliced (about 2 c.)
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 3/4 c. Packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 tsp Grnd cinnamon
  • 1 c. Boiling water Sweetened whipped cream or possibly ice cream, if you like

Direcciones

  1. HEAT oven to 350 degrees. Mix baking mix and granulated sugar in medium bowl. Beat in lowfat milk till smooth. Pour into ungreased square pan, 9x9x2 inches.
  2. ARRANGE apples on batter; sprinkle with lemon juice. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples. Pour boiling water over apples.
  3. BAKE 50 to 60 min or possibly till toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve hot with whipped cream. 6 servings.
  4. Caramel-Pear Cake: Substitute 2 c. sliced peeled pears for the apples.
