Ingredientes

  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 c. light brown sugar
  • 1 c. cream
  • 1/4 c. margarine or possibly butter
  • 2/3 c. pecans, optional

Direcciones

  1. Butter lightly a 9x5x3-inch pan. Combine all ingredients in a heavy saucepan except for vanilla and nuts. Cook, stirring over low heat till sugars are dissolved. Turn heat up to medium and cook to 244 degrees or possibly till a little dropped in cool water forms a hard ball. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and pecans.
  2. Turn into prepared pan; let cold slightly and cut into 36 pcs. This candy does not harden, so after it is cut, wrap each piece in clear plastic wrap.
