%20%20But%20I%20did%20start%20the%20day%20off%20right%20with%20a%20tasty%20breakfast%20sandwich.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAn%20onion%20roll%20topped%20with%20Crofter%E2%80%99s%20Superfruit%20Spread,%20a%20slice%20of%20reduced%20fat%20colby%20jack%20cheese,%20and%202%20eggs.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20use%20the%20microwave%20method%20for%20the%20eggs%20(which%20I%20whisked%20a%20bit%20of%20Buffalo%20sauce%20into)%20and%20they%20came%20out%20so%20fluffy.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThen%20we%20piled%20in%20the%20car%20for%20another%20mini%20roadtrip.%20%20Adam%E2%80%99s%20friend%20from%20his%20lab%20invited%20us%20to%20her%20wedding%20reception%20and%20it%20was%20held%20upstate.%20%20They%20actually%20got%20married%20in%20St.%20Thomas%20(hometown%20represent!)%20a%20few%20months%20ago,%20so%20the%20party%20had%20a%20tropical%20theme.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20husband%20and%20I%20split%20a%20strawberry%20daquiri,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20a%20small%20plate%20of%20chocolate%20fountain%20food.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20actually%20cut%20out%20early%20and%20missed%20dinner,%20so%20we%20decided%20to%20get%20sushi%20once%20we%20got%20back%20to%20Buffalo.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20husband%20has%20been%20craving%20sushi%20so%20we%20checked%20out%20a%20place%20we%20walked%20by%20a%20few%20weeks%20ago,%20Sea%20Bar.%20%20They%20had%20great%20aqua%20accoutrements,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20complementary%20spiced%20popcorn.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20our%20actual%20appetizer%20the%20husband%20and%20I%20split%20a%20Miso%20Caramel%20Crab%20roll.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20tasty!%20%20The%20roll%20was%20tempura%E2%80%99d%20with%20cream%20cheese,%20green%20onions,%20and%20crab,%20then%20topped%20with%20miso%20spiked%20caramel.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20four%20bites%20were%20enough%20to%20satisfy%20my%20sushi%20fix,%20so%20I%20went%20with%20salmon%20for%20dinner.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20came%20well%20done%20with%20roasted%20pineapple%20salsa%20and%20egg%20fu%20young.%20%20I%20passed%20the%20eggs%20to%20Adam%20but%20devoured%20my%20fish.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAmong%20other%20things,%20the%20husband%20ordered%20a%20Beef%20of%20Weck%20roll.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFun!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAfter%20dinner%20we%20kept%20the%20date%20going%20with%20a%20trip%20to%20Delish%20for%20ice-cream.%20%20I%20got%20a%20Love%20Potion%20%23%209,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Esweet%20cream%20raspberry%20ice%20cream%20with%20lavender.%20%20Swoon,%20the%20lavender%20gave%20such%20a%20great%20aftertaste.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20salmon%20and%20ice%20cream%20were%20quite%20tasty,%20but%20honestly,%20I%E2%80%99m%20still%20flipping%20starving!%20%20I%E2%80%99ve%20been%20hungry%20since%20I%20went%20to%20bed%20last%20night%20and%20it%E2%80%99s%20been%20driving%20me%20crazy.%20%20Once%20I%20get%20this%20published%20I%E2%80%99m%20actually%20going%20to%20go%20get%20a%20sandwich!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhat%20is%20your%20favorite%20type%20of%20sushi%20roll?%20%20I%E2%80%99m%20not%20often%20brave%20enough%20to%20go%20beyond%20veggies,%20but%20one%20time%20in%20Brooklyn%20Adam%20and%20I%20had%20a%20roll%20with%20bananas%20in%20it%20that%20was%20divine.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20Loading...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERelated%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
