Ingredientes

  • 2 lb stew meat
  • 1 x 8 ounce. can tomato sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. Aida's Sofrito
  • 2 tsp Aida's Sazon
  • 2 tsp Aida's Adobo
  • 1/2 tsp Aida's Spanish Oregano
  • 2 c. baby carrots
  • 2 c. quartered or possibly cubed potatoes
  • 1/2 c. green olives (stuffed with pimentos) optional
  • 1 c. water

Direcciones

  1. In large Caldero (cast aluminum pot), Dutch Oven, or possibly Cast Iron Pot add in tomato sauce, Aida'sSeasonings; Sofrito, Sazon, Adobo, and Spanish Oregano. Set flame on medium-low heat. Saute/fry for just a few min. Add in meat and stir 2-3 min till meat is browned. Add in 3/4-1 c. ofwater, just sufficient to cover meat. Stir well, and reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for about 1 1/2 hrs. Check from time to time and add in water if meat is drying out, but just sufficient to cover meat. Taste and add in Adobo, Spanish Oregano, or possibly Sazon if you like to taste.
