Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 1 x egg
  • 1 x egg white
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/3 c. carob pwdr or possibly cocoa
  • 2/3 c. unbleached flour
  • 2 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1/2 c. minced walnuts (optional)

Direcciones

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. In a large bowl, beat together the applesauce, honey, egg, egg white, and vanilla.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the carob, flour, and baking pwdr. Add in to the applesauce mix. Stir in the nuts. Pour the mix into an oiled 8- by 8-inch baking pan. Bake for 20 to 25 min. Remove from the oven and cold completely. Cut into squares.
  3. This recipe yields 12 servings.
  4. Serving size: 1 brownie.
  5. Comments: Perfect to make on a rainy day. So easy, we do not know who will make them more you or possibly your kids!
