Ingredientes

  • 1/4 c. Honey or possibly maple syrup or possibly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. Roasted carob pwdr
  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. Nonfat lowfat milk
  • 3 x Large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp Freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1 Tbsp. Grnd cinnamon
  • 4 c. Cooked brown or possibly basmati rice
  • 1/2 c. Currants or possibly dry cranberries
  • 2 Tbsp. Grated fresh orange peel

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Whisk together honey, carob pwdr, vanilla, lowfat milk, Large eggs, nutmeg and cinnamon in medium bowl. Stir in cooked rice, currants and grated orange peel. Spoon into lightly oiled 2-qt baking dish. Bake 1 hour or possibly till liquid is absorbed and pudding is lightly browned on top.
