Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Butter, room temperature (2 sticks)
  • 1/2 c. Shortening, (Crisco) room temperture
  • 3 c. Sugar
  • 5 x Large eggs, room temperature
  • 3 c. Allpurpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 Tbsp. Pure vanilla extract, (equal to a whole vanilla bean)
  • 1/2 tsp Orange extract

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream (mixer speed) butter and shortening for 2 min. Fold (mixer speed) in sugar till smooth.
  2. Add in Large eggs once at a time beating just till yellow disappears. Combine flour and baking pwdr. Add in to creamed mix alterntively with lowfat milk, beginning and ending with flour. Mix in flavorings. Don't EXCEED MIXING TIME OF 10 Min! Pour batter into a prepared 10" tube pan. Bake for 1 to 11/2 hrs.
