Ingredientes

  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. grated carrots
  • 1 c. oil
  • 2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 3 ounce cream cheese
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 2 T shortening
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract

Direcciones

  1. Put together ingredients with an electric mixer, adding large eggs, one at a time, and carrots and nuts last. Pour into a greased and lightly floured pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
  2. Blend ingredients. Cake may be frosted while warm. This is sufficient frosting for a very thin layer that seems to be all the cake needs.
