Receta Carrot Cashew Poriyal
CARROT CASHEW PORIYAL
This is a simple and a quick dish that goes well with rice. Adding cashews , gives a rich taste to this poriyal.

For this Poriyal you need
- 3 nos. of Carrot
- 1 small onion
- 2 green chillies
- 5 nos. of cashews (Break them into small pieces)
- 4 tsp. of coconut
- Salt to taste
- Oil
- For Seasoning
- 1 tsp. of mustard and urad dhal
Few curry leaves
Preparation
Wash and grate the carrots.
Heat oil in a pan . Add the seasoning ingredients.
Add the green chillies and cashews.
Add the chopped onions and saute them well until they turn translucent
Now add the grated carrot along with salt and mix them.
Cook them until the carrot becomes soft.
Before switching off the flame , add the grated coconut and mix it gently...
Carrot cashew Poriyal is ready to serve..........
Serve it with rice........
