Casserole Deviled Crab Meat

Ingredientes

  • 2 c. canned crab (two 6 1/2 ounce cans each) or possibly frzn crab
  • 1/2 c. finely minced walnuts
  • 2 hard cooked large eggs, diced
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise (or possibly slightly more)
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne or possibly Tabasco
  • 2 T butter
  • 1 c. bread crumbs

Direcciones

  1. Flake crab meat removing all tiny bones and fibers. Toss meat with walnuts and large eggs. Mix mayonnaise with lemon juice and all seasonings. Put together with crab mix, adding a little more mayonnaise if needed to be well moistened. Heat butter and mix lightly with crumbs. Pour crab mix in buttered shallow dish and cover with crumbs. Preheat oven to moderately hot (400 degrees). Bake crab 20 min or possibly till golden on top. Serve hot. If casserole is mixed in advance and kept refrigerated, remove from the cold about 10 min before it goes into the oven. Serves 4.
