Ingredientes

  • 4 x Garlic cloves, chopped
  • 4 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 can (28-ounce) ready-cut tomatoes
  • 1 can (16-ounce) pitted whole black olives, liquid removed
  • 6 Tbsp. Capers, with juice
  • 12 x Fresh basil leaves, minced
  • 1 pch Red pepper flakes Pepper to taste Grated cheese

Direcciones

  1. Saute/fry garlic in the oil till golden. Add in the tomatoes and simmer for 10 min. Add in olives, capers, basil, red pepper, and pepper. Simmer in an uncovered pot for 20 min, stirring gently till sauce has thickened.
  2. Serve on 1 1/2 pounds of pasta cooked al dente. Serve with grated cheese and warm Italian bread and wine. Excellent for gypsies, harlots, starlets, or possibly just plain friends.
  3. Serves 4 to 6 OPTIONAL: A small can of anchovies can be added to the sauce. This is very traditional; however, I do not use them.
