Ingredientes

  • 2 lb Catfish fillets(4-5z ea)
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp White pepper Cherry tomatoes(opt)
  • 1 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine,melted
  • 1 tsp Salt Parsley sprigs(opt)
  • 3 x Bacon slices,minced
  • 1/3 c. Minced green onions(w/tops)
  • 2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1/4 c. Sherry
  • 1/2 lb Shrimp,cooked,liquid removed
  • 1/4 tsp White pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine
  • 1/4 c. Flour,all-purpose
  • 8 ounce American cheese,small pcs
  • 1 can Mushrooms,sliced(4oz)
  • 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dsh Warm pepper sauce

Direcciones

  1. Thaw frzn fish according to package directions.
  2. Prepare Bienville Sauce; keep hot.
  3. Place fillets on well-greased rack of broiler pan.
  4. Combine butter, lemon juice, salt and pepper; brush fillets with butter mix.
  5. Broil 6 inches from heat for 8 min, or possibly till fish flakes easily when tested with fork.
  6. Remove fish to hot serving platter; spoon Bienville Sauce over fillets.
  7. Garnish with parsley and cherry tomatoes if you like.
  8. BIENVILLE SAUCE***
  9. In medium skillet, cook bacon and onion till bacon is light brown.
  10. Add in butter and flour; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, till mix is smooth (don't brown flour).
  11. Add in lowfat milk gradually, making a smooth paste; cook over low heat till thickened and bubbly.
  12. Add in cheese; continue cooking over low heat till cheese melts.
  13. Stir in remaining ingredients.
