Ingredientes

  • 2 1/2 c. 2% low-fat lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. Dry tart cherries
  • 1/2 c. Golden brown raisins
  • 1/2 c. Fat-free sweetened condensed lowfat milk
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 3 lrg Large eggs
  • 8 c. Cubed challah or possibly other egg bread, 1-inch cubes (about 1/2 loaf) Cooking spray
  • 2 Tbsp. Sugar

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Combine the first 9 ingredients in a large bowl. Add in challah cubes, tossing to coat. Let challah mix stand 30 min, stirring ocassionally.
  3. Coat an 11 x 7- inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  4. Spoon the challah mix into the dish and sprinkle with sugar.
  5. Bake for 55 min or possibly till pudding is set. Let pudding stand 15 min before serving.
