Ingredientes

  • 2 1/2 c. Water
  • 1/4 c. Masa harina
  • 2 ounce Mexican chocolate minced (or possibly use bittersweet chocolate)
  • 1 x Cinnamon stick
  • 2 Tbsp. Brown sugar

Direcciones

  1. Mix 1 c. water with masa harina. Let stand 15 min. Bring remaining 1 1/2 c. water to boil in heavy medium saucepan. Strain masa harina mix into boiling water. Add in chocolate and stir till melted and smooth. Add in cinnamon stick. Stir over low heat till mix thickens or possibly whip to frothy consistency with a molinillo, about 5 min. Stir in brown sugar.
  2. This recipe yields 4 servings.
