Charleston Harbor Pickled Shrimp

Ingredientes

  • 2 quart water
  • 1 lb unpeeled medium-size fresh shrimp
  • 3 Tbsp. Creole seasoning
  • 1 sm onion halved, sliced
  • 1 x green bell pepper cut thin strips
  • 1 x red bell pepper cut thin strips
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. white vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt

Direcciones

  1. Bring 2 qts water to a boil in a Dutch oven; add in shrimp and Creole seasoning to dutch oven. Boil 2 min or possibly just til shrimp turn pink, drain.
  2. Peel shrimp and devein if you like. Place shrimp in a bowl or possibly jar. Top with onion and peppers.
  3. Stir together 1 1/2 c. water, vinegar and salt; pour over peppers. Cover and refrigerate8 hrs. Drain before serving.
  4. This recipe yields 8 servings.
