Charred Steak Pasta Salad

Ingredientes

  • Salt as needed
  • 3 c. Fusilli
  • 12 ounce Steak
  • 1 x Garlic clove cut in half
  • 1/2 c. Mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp. Tarragon vinegar
  • 1/3 c. Finely-diced red bell pepper
  • 1/3 c. Finely-diced green bell pepper
  • 1/3 c. Finely-diced yellow bell pepper
  • 1/2 c. Green or possibly black olives in oil minced (or possibly a combination of both)

Direcciones

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add in the fusilli and cook till tender, about 10 min. When the pasta is done, drain it, cold under cool water, drain again and pat dry.
  2. Meanwhile, grill or possibly broil the steak 3 to 4 min a side only or possibly till charred on the outside, but rare on the inside. (If you do not like steak rare, substitute chicken.) When the steak is done remove it to a plate for later; while resting, rub a cut clove of garlic on both sides.
  3. In a large mixing bowl combine the mayonnaise, tarragon vinegar, and peppers. Toss the pasta with the ingredients in the mixing bowl. Portion out the pasta. Cut the steak into thin diagonal strips and pile them in the center of the pasta; garnish with olives This recipe yields 4 servings.
