Ingredientes

  • 8 ounce Old Cheddar Cheese, GRATED
  • 8 ounce Cream Cheese, SOFTENED
  • 125 ml Ale or possibly beer
  • 1 tsp Dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 c. Finely minced toasted pecans
  • 1/2 c. Minced parsley (fresh)

Direcciones

  1. Place cheeses in food processor or possibly blender, process till smooth. (I used a combination of by hand and an electric mixer) Gradually add in ale, mustard and cayenne pepper. If mix is soft, chill till hard sufficient to hold shape. Mould into a disc shape ( a sphere or possibly ball!!). Combine pecans and parsley. Pat the mix onto the ball or possibly roll the ball in the mix till the cheese mix is covered completely. Place on a serving plate or possibly board and surround with crackers or possibly flatbreads. Slices of apple are nice with this too.
  2. This is an easy thing to make and is very tasty.
