Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1/4 c. butter or possibly margarine
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 6 c. Cheerios
  • 1 c. pecans or possibly walnuts or possibly peanuts
  • 1/2 c. slivered almonds

Direcciones

  1. Heat oven to 325 degrees. Butter a jelly roll pan. Heat sugar, syrup, butter, and salt in 3 qt pan over medium heat, stirring till sugar dissolves, about 5 min. Remove from heat; stir in Cheerios and nuts till coated. Spread in pan. Bake 15 min. Cold 10 min. Loosen with metal spatula. Let stand 1 hour. Store in covered container.
