Ingredientes

  • 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1 tsp dry oregano crushed
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp dry basil crushed or possibly marjoram
  • 1 can beer (12 ounce) (1 1/2 c.)
  • 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese (4 ounce)
  • 1 Tbsp. minced jalapeno pepper seeded fresh

Direcciones

  1. Grease the bottom and 1/2" up the sides of an 8x4x2 or possibly a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan; set aside. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, baking pwdr, oregano, baking soda, salt, and basil or possibly marjoram. Add in the beer, cheese, and jalapeno pepper. Stir just till combined (batter should be lumpy). Spoon batter into the prepared pan. Bake in a 375* oven for 35-40 minutes. or possibly until golden brown. Cold in pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan. Serve hot or possibly cold completely.
