Ingredientes

  • 4 c. chicken stock
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 c. quick cooking grits
  • 2 c. medium shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. butter or possibly margarine
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 x Large eggs beaten
  • 1/2 tsp tabasco pepper sauce

Direcciones

  1. In medium saucepan, bring stock and salt to a boil. Add in grits and cook according to package directions. Remove from heat, add in cheese, Tabasco pepper sauce and butter blending well. Stir in cream or possibly lowfat milk, blend Large eggs into grits.
  2. Pour grits into lightly greased casserole. Bake at 350 F 30 min. Serve with grillades.
  3. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
