Ingredientes

  • 1/2 lb Margarine
  • 1 pkt (8 Ounce.) Cream Cheese
  • 1 pkt (8 Ounce.) Sharp Cheddar Cheese, grated
  • 2 x Egg Whites, beaten stiff
  • 1 loaf Unsliced Bread

Direcciones

  1. Heat cheeses and butter together in top of double boiler over warm water.
  2. Beat until smooth and completely blended. Cold to lukewarm. Mix in 2 stiffly beaten egg whites. Cut unsliced loaf into 9-10 slices (1/2" to 3/4" thick); cut slices into cubes. Dip cubes into cheese mix to coat completely. Put on cookie sheet and freeze immediately. When frzn, store in plastic bags in freezer. (Will keep for weeks.) To serve, place frzn cubes on greased cookie sheet and bake at 450 for 8 min, or possibly till golden. Serve warm.
