Ingredientes

  • 1/2 lb Grnd beef
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Onion, finely minced
  • 1/2 x A bell pepper, finely minced
  • 1 can Refrigerator biscuits, layer biscuits work best
  • 5 slc American or possibly cheddar cheese, cut in half Salt and pepper

Direcciones

  1. Combine meat, onion, and bell pepper in a skillet, season with salt and pepper. While meat is browning place each biscuit on a lightly floured pastry board and roll into a five inch circle. (If you do not have a rolling pin, a flat sided drinking glass works well!). Place about 3 Tbsp. of meat mix on each 5 inch circle. Top with 2 half slices of cheese.
  2. Moisten edges of biscuit with water, and place another biscuit over the meat and cheese mix to create the top crust. Seal edges and prick top with fork. Turnovers should be placed on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 8 to 10 min.
  3. Yields 5 servings.
  4. You could also add in your favorite vegetables to this - - like Mushrooms!
