Ingredientes

  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 pkt MAGGI Tasty Cheese Sauce Mix
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 125 gm butter
  • 2 tsp lowfat milk, (optional) (2 to 3)
  • 3 Tbsp. grated parmesan cheese, (3 to 4)
  • 1 Tbsp. poppy seeds

Direcciones

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 C.
  2. Place the flour, sauce mix and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
  3. Rub in the butter till the mix resembles fine breadcrumbs.
  4. Knead gently till the mix forms a ball. If necessary, add in a little lowfat milk.
  5. Alternatively, place the ingredients in a food processor, adding a little lowfat milk if required, and process till the mix forms a ball.
  6. Roll tsp. of the dough into balls.
  7. Combine the parmesan cheese and poppy seeds in a shallow bowl.
  8. Roll the dough in the cheese mix, then place on an ungreased oven tray.
  9. Press down firmly with a fork to flatten the biscuits.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 min or possibly till the biscuits are golden.
  11. Serve with Smoked Salmon and Tangy Cheese and Bacon dips.
  12. Smoked Salmon Dip:Combine 1 can NESTLE Reduced Cream, 1 packet MAGGI Onion Soup Mix and 1 tsp. lemon juice in a bowl. Mix well, then stir in 2-3 Tbsp. very finely minced smoked salmon and 1 Tbsp. minced parsley. Cover and refrigeratefor 30 min.
  13. Tangy Cheese & Bacon Dip:Prepare 1 packet MAGGI Cheese & Bacon Dip Mix following the packet directions, then stir in 1-2 tsp. whole seed mustard.
  14. Cover and refrigeratefor 30 min.
