Cheesy Apples

A very versatile dish! Can be served as a side dish or with ice cream as a dessert. A real crowd pleaser

Ingredientes

  • I 21 ounce can apple pie filling
  • 1/2 cup margarine (melted)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup self-rising flour
  • 8 ounces of Velveeta Chees cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla flavoring

Direcciones

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Prepare a 2 quart baking dish with cooking spray.
  3. Pour the apples into the baking dish and spread to even over the bottom of the prepared dish.
  4. In a large sauce pan melt the butter. When melted, stir in the sugar, flour, milk and cheese until all the cheese is melted and well incorporated add the vanilla flavoring just before pouring over the apples.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes until golden brown...
  6. Serve as a side dish or as dessert with ice cream
