Cheesy Biscuit Lasagna

Ingredientes

  • 1 pound grnd beef
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 8 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 6 ounce can tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic pwdr
  • 1 teaspoon grnd oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. (6 ounce) shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 c. cottage cheese
  • 1 T parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon instant chopped onion
  • 1 (10 count) can biscuits
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil leaves

Direcciones

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. In large frying pan, brown grnd beef; drain. Stir in water, tomato sauce, tomato paste, garlic pwdr, oregano, 1/2 basil leaves and pepper; cover and simmer 15-20 min.Meanwhile, in small bowl, put together Mozzarella and cottage cheese, parsley, onion, and remaining half of basil leaves.
  2. Separate dough into 10 biscuits; press each biscuit to a 4-inch circle, place 1 1/2 tbsp of cheese mix on each circle. Fold dough in half over filling, press edges with fork to seal. Pour hot meat mix into ungreased 9x13 (3 qt) baking dish; arrange filled biscuits on top. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 min till biscuits are golden. 5-6 servings.
