Receta Cheesy Chicken & Broccoli Dip {Old London Foods}
by CookingLib

A few months ago, I was contacted by Old London Foods to test out some of their delicious products and create a unique recipe for their website.

When they asked me to pick out which product I wanted to review, I felt like a kid in a candy store. Mainly because there were so many wonderful flavor combinations. Do I go with Melba Toast Sesame? Or do I try their J J Flats 7 Grain? In the end, I ended up choosing their J J Flats Everything Flatbread.

I am so happy I chose this flavor. It has sesame, caraway, and poppy seeds mixed together with the flavors of onion, garlic, and a hint of salt. The perfect combination if you ask me!

Something savory came to mind when I received the boxes and before I knew it, I was in the kitchen cooking up this cheesy chicken and broccoli dip. The flatbreads are only 110 calories per 6 pieces, so I wanted to keep the recipe on somewhat of a healthy level, hence the broccoli part.

I also decided to add a little comfort to the recipe because well…that's what I do best ;)

Shredded chicken and cheese are mixed with the broccoli and other comforting ingredients to produce this wonderful dip.

Husband Man absolutely LOVED it…as did I! My kids however, weren't big fans of it. I suspect it may have something to do with how green the broccoli appeared to be. No matter how much cheese we used to cover the green part, they still couldn't bring themselves to try it.

Alas, kids will be kids. Luckily this dip didn't last long enough for us to think of more convincing ways for them to eat their broccoli!

So the next time you are in the cracker aisle of your grocery store, pick up a box of these yummy flatbreads (or any other product from Old London Foods) and whip a plate of this comforting and healthy dip.
