Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Pinwheels

These kid-approved Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Pinwheels are perfect for busy weeknights!

Can you believe it’s almost back to school time? My kiddos don’t go back to school until after Labor Day, but I know many kids that start soon! This summer is flying by!

It’s that time of year to start thinking about easy peasy weeknight meals that you can easily toss together that everyone will love. These kid-approved Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Pinwheels are a perfect addition to your menu rotation! Not only are these yummy, but they’re super easy to make too! With just a few simple ingredients, you can whip these up and have them ready to eat in less than 30 minutes! That’s my kind of meal!

I love to serve these with a big tossed salad, and some veggies like broccoli and carrot sticks for the kiddos. What kid wouldn’t love these?

These Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Pinwheels are customizable too. You can leave out the pepperoni if your family isn’t a fan, or load up with veggies, like chopped bell peppers, onions, mushrooms. You do you!

I keep these simple with just pepperoni. I serve these with warm pizza sauce or marinara for dipping! Now who wouldn’t love that?

I cut these into 8 large pinwheels, but you could make them smaller and cut 12 too. I like 8 since they fit nicely in a 9-inch pie dish. You could bake these on a baking sheet too.

If you love pizza night, then be sure to try my ONE POT CHEESY PIZZA PASTA or CHEESY PEPPERONI PIZZA SLIDERS! These are family favorites you’ll love too!

teaspoon

Instructions

Preheat oven 350 degrees.

In a small bowl mix together butter, garlic powder and parsley flakes. Set aside.

Roll out crescent roll on wax paper. If not using a crescent dough sheet, press seams together to create a rectangle.

Spread a layer of pizza sauce or marinara on top leaving about 1/2 inch border. Top with shredded cheese and pepperoni.

Carefully roll up lengthwise, pinching in seams if necessary as rolling up. Brush with some of the butter.

Using a sharp knife, cut into 8-12 slices. Place cut side down on a non-stick baking sheet. If making only 8, you can place in a 9-inch pie dish sprayed with cooking spray. Brush tops with remaining butter.

Bake on the center rack for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Serve with warm pizza sauce or marinara if desired for dipping.
