Ingredientes

  • 2 Tbsp. shortening
  • 3 Tbsp. white sugar
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1 pkt active dry yeast (.25 ounce.)
  • 1 x egg beaten
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour

Direcciones

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  2. 2 In a mixing bowl, combine the shortening, sugar and warm water. Allow to cold; add in yeast to lukewarm water (110 degrees) and dissolve.
  3. 3 Add in the egg and salt; mix well.
  4. 4 Add in the flour; mix well and allow to double in size.
  5. 5 Place dough into greased muffin tins and allow to double in size again.
  6. 6 Bake for 10 min or possibly till brown on top.
  7. Makes 6 to 8 rolls
  8. NOTES : "This easy yeast roll recipe was given to me by my Great, Great Grandmother. I used it a couple of years ago in our state fair and received first place."
