Cherry Cream Cheese Turnovers

Ingredientes

  • 1 (8 ounce) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • Healthy pinch of salt
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • Confectioners' sugar

Direcciones

  1. Blend the cream cheese and butter in a bowl, then stir in vanilla. Add in the flour and salt; mix well. Place in refrigerator for 1 hour. Roll thin on a lightly floured surface and cut into 2" squares. Place 2 cherries from the pie filling in center of each square. Fold over and seal edges. Bake at 350 degrees on baking sheet for 25 min. Cool and dust with confectioners' sugar. Yield: 50 turnovers.
