Ingredientes

  • 2 1/4 c. All-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 3/4 c. Margarine, softened
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. Fat-free lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 c. Minced nuts
  • 1 c. Finely minced pitted dates
  • 1/3 c. Finely minced maraschino cherries
  • 2 2/3 c. Kellogg's CORN FLAKES
  • 15 x Maraschino cherries, cut to quarters

Direcciones

  1. In mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking pwdr and salt. Set aside.
  2. In large electric mixer bowl, beat margarine and sugar till light and fluffy. Add in Large eggs. Beat well. Stir in lowfat milk and vanilla. Add in flour mix. Mix well. Stir in nuts, dates and the 1/3 c. cherries.
  3. Shape dough into one inch size balls. Crush KELLOGG'S CORN FLAKES cereal to approx 1 1/3 c.. Roll dough in crushed cereal. Place on baking sheets coated with cooking spray. Top each cookie with cherry quarter.
  4. Bake at 350 F for 10 min or possibly till lightly browned.
