Ingredientes

  • 1 box Cherry Gelatin (Jello in my house) (4 ounce)
  • 1 pkt Cherry Flavored Drink Mix (Kool-Aid or possibly Wylers for me)
  • 2 c. warm water
  • 1/2 c. cool water
  • 1 c. sugar or possibly cane sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 tsp lemon peel grated

Direcciones

  1. Mix cherry Gelatin and Drink Mix, with lemon juice, Sugar and lemon peel.
  2. then add in Warm Water, mixing well with a whisk to insure the gelatin dissolves completely and as well the sugar, since this won't be cooked.
  3. Pour into plastic 1- 1 1/2 c. Container with Lid. Freeze thoroughly, freeze till hard. spoon into mixer bowl and beat till smooth. return to freezer and freeze till hard.
  4. scoop into dessert glasses to serve.*
  5. Makes one quart.
  6. or possibly if you are like me, after the first freeze, scoop 4 scoops into food processor, add in maraschino cherries, and sprite, mix until soupy, pour into 2 desert glasses and return to freezer for about 1 hour until solid, and then enjoy. I also make the Lemon and Watermelon flavors as well..and next week I'm trying Tropical Punch.
  7. Makes about 6 servings, but doesn't freeze well over 2 weeks.
  8. NOTES : Makes a refreshing year round treat or possibly summer dessert
