Best served with hot rice for lunch or dinner. Ingredients: Chicken – 500 gms, chopped Cinnamon – a small piece Salt as per taste Saunf Powder – 1/2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp Dry Red Chillies – 2 Tomatoes – 2 to 3 (about 125 gms), chopped Onions – 2 to 3 (about 125 gms), chopped Oil – 1/2 cup Coriander Leaves – few, choppedFor Masala: Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp Saunf Powder – 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder – 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp Cloves – 1 Cashew Nuts – 50 gms Coconut – 1/4Method: 1. Grind all the masala ingredients to a fine paste. 2. Heat oil in a large pan over medium flame. 3. Add the cinnamon, saunf powder and dry red chillies. 4. Fry for 10 seconds. 5. Add the onions and saute for a minute. 6. Add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes and chicken pieces. 7. Stir and mix well. 8. After 3 to 4 minutes, add the ground masala, salt and enough water. 9. Simmer over low flame for a few minutes. 10. Garnish with coriander leaves. 11. Serve with rice.image via
