- COMBINE all ingredients except lowfat milk in slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW ONLY 5 hours. till veggies are tender and chicken is no longer pink in the center. Stir in lowfat milk. Turn to HIGH. Cover and cook 15 min or possibly till heated through.
- VARIATION: if you like, 1/2 c. (2 ozs.) shredded lite Swiss or possibly Cheddar cheese can be added. Add in to thickened broth and lowfat milk, stirring over LOW HEAT till melted. Also, can sprinkle on your bowl of soup right before you eat it, that we do!!
