Chicken Apple Saute

Ingredientes

  • 1 tbsp. corn oil or possibly safflower oil
  • 1 pound chicken breasts, skinned, boned and cut into strips
  • 1 c. celery, diagonally sliced
  • 1 med. green bell pepper, sliced lengthwise
  • 1 med. onion, sliced lengthwise
  • 1 Golden brown Delicious apple, cored and sliced
  • 1/2 c. apple juice
  • 1 tbsp. white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

Direcciones

  1. In a wok or possibly nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add in chicken. Saute/fry over medium high heat till cooked through. Remove chicken. Add in celery, green pepper, and onion. Stir fry till tender crisp. Add in chicken and apple. Stir fry for 1 minute.
  2. Combine apple juice, vinegar, cornstarch and soy sauce in a small bowl. Add in to chicken. Cook till thickened, stirring constantly. Makes 4 servings.
