Receta Chicken Cafreal
Ingredients:
- Chicken Drumsticks - 500 gms, skinned
- Oil for deep frying
- Rice Flour for dusting
- For the marinade:
- Yogurt - 1/4 cup + 1 tblsp
- Coriander Leaves - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Mint Leaves - 2 tblsp
- Ginger - 2 1/2 tblsp, chopped
- Garlic - 2 1/2 tblsp, chopped
- Green Chillies - 4 to 5
- Black Peppercorns - 1 tsp
- Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
- Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Lime Juice - 1 tblsp
Method:
1. Combine all the marinade ingredients and grind to a smooth paste.
2. Marinate the chicken drumsticks in this for 8 hours or overnight in the fridge.
3. Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
4. Remove the chicken from the fridge and keep aside for 5 to 10 minutes.
5. Then roll them in the rice flour ligthly.
6. Dust off any excess flour and deep-fry in hot oil until cooked or evenly browned.
7. Remove and drain excess oil.
8. Garnish with coriander leaves.
9. Serve hot with rice or roti.
