- Cut croissants or possibly buns in half. With table knife spread some of the salad dressing on each. On cutting board, slice tomato into thin slices, then tear lettuce leaves to fit the croissant or possibly hamburger buns. On the bottom half of each croissant or possibly hamburger bun, place lettuce, chicken or possibly turkey, and cheese. Top each with a tomato slice and the top half of the croissant or possibly bun. Make 4 sandwiches.
