Years ago when I first visited Planet Hollywood, my friends kept telling me that the Captain Crunch chicken was a must try dish. I thought is sounded, well, gross. However, they all begged me to give it a try. The girls were probably 6 and 8 years old at the time, so why not, I ordered a plate for the girls. And maybe I would try a bite. When the dish arrived and I tested it out, I immediately ordered another plate.
I have been making this dish at home ever since. When the boys tried it for the first time, I think they thought I was the coolest stepmom.
Then, I stopped making it even though they kept asking for it. I think in the last ten years I have only made them twice. So today, for their 22nd birthday I made it again. This time, I felt it was time to share it will all of you too!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
Marlene
