.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThen%20put%20those%20in%20a%20big%20ol'%20container%20and%20add:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eturn%20to%20coat,%20cover%20and%20put%20away%20in%20the%20fridge%20for%20awhile(30mintes%20to%20a%20few%20hours).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOnce%20your%20chicken%20is%20ready%20get%20a%20deep%20pan%20(I'm%20sure%20cast%20iron%20would%20be%20great%20here%20too)%20and%20put%20about%20an%20inch%20of%20oil%20in%20it.%20You%20aren't%20gonna%20deep%20fry%20this..just%20shallow%20fry...and%20then%20finish%20in%20the%20oven..so%20go%20ahead%20and%20turn%20the%20oven%20on%20to%20375.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20dish%20put%20in%202%20cups%20of%20all%20purpose%20flour,%20and%20another%20tablespoon%20or%20so%20of%20your%20cajun%20seasoning,%20and%20a%20couple%20spoonfuls%20of%20the%20buttermilk%20and%20mix%20it%20with%20your%20fingers.%20This%20is%20important.%20Why?%20Well...good%20fried%20chicken..like%20REALLY%20good%20fried%20chicken%20has%20those%20big,%20nubby,%20crunchy%20pieces...this%20is%20how%20you%20get%20them.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOil%20hot?%20Ok...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETake%20the%20chicken%20out%20of%20the%20buttermilk%20and%20shake%20off%20excess,%20place%20right%20into%20the%20flour%20and%20press%20to%20coat,%20then%20right%20into%20the%20oil.%20Turn%20after%20a%20couple%20minutes%20(check%20for%20golden%20color)-once%20nice,%20golden,%20and%20crispy..place%20into%20a%20baking%20dish.%20Get%20all%20your%20pieces%20partially%20cooked%20in%20the%20oil%20and%20put%20the%20baking%20dish%20into%20the%20oven%20for%20about%2020-30%20to%20finish%20off%20cooking%20the%20inside%20of%20the%20chicken.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou%20can%20serve%20it%20with%20whatever%20sides%20you'd%20like...as%20you%20can%20see%20I%20served%20mine%20with%20biscuits,%20mashed%20potatoes%20and%20gravy,%20and%20braised%20cabbage%20(I'm%20gonna%20have%20to%20work%20on%20THAT%20recipe%20though).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20chicken%20is%20amazing...seriously.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERecipe%20adapted%20from%20here.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
