Chicken Nuggets

Great for kids, easy to make and great for freezing

Ingredientes

  • 4 chicken thighs - skinned and boned
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup vegetables (carrot and brocolli go well)
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • half a handful of fresh herbs
  • half a cup of bread crumbs
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 to 2 cups breadcrumbs (panko ones are good)
  • Oil for cooking

Direcciones

  1. In a food processor put all the first lot of ingredients, pulse then whizz until totally minced up. Form into small balls and squash into a nugget shape.
  2. Place the breadcrumbs in a flattish bowl, press the nuggets in on each side then cook in a little oil in a medium heated pan until each side is golden brown. Put on paper towel to soak up any excess oil.
  3. The veges are optional - you can add half a cup of cottage cheese that has been drained in a sieve for 5 minutes. It's a good way to sneak a few veg past the kiddies though. These can also be baked in the oven for 10 mins, turn over and cook another 10 on 180 celsius
