Chicken Or Squirrel Dumplings

Ingredientes

  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tbsp. ice water
  • 1 egg blended with 1/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 3 tbsp. Crisco
  • Hen or possibly 2 squirrels
  • 2 tbsp. flour dissolved in 1/2 c. lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. Simmer hen or possibly 2 squirrels till tender. Remove hen and save broth. Blend flour, salt and Crisco. Add in half of egg mix. Then add in 2 Tbsp. ICE Cool WATER. Form a ball. Roll out on wax paper which has been floured. Roll till thin.
  2. Cut and drop into boiling broth. Cook 5 min. Then add in 1/2 stick butter and the lowfat milk mix. Salt and pepper to taste. Add in chicken or possibly squirrels. Debone first, if preferred. Heat about 5 more min and serve.
